PROGRAM Day 1 Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate : Your tour begins right at your hotel where one of our representative will pick you up. The first part of this trip will take you to Ouarzazate. On the way, we will cross the Atlas mountains by the surprising Tizi n’Tichka port, which is 2,260 meters of height. Shortly after crossing the Atlas, we will drive towards the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an incredible fortified city of more than 800 years old. You will have some free time to visit the site. This place is well known as movies like Gladiator and the Kingdom of Heaven have been filmed there. At the end of your visit, we will drive a short distance to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the film studios or what we call Hollywood of Africa, since it’s has been as well a very famous destination for filmmakers. Ouarzazate is your first overnight stop. Day 2 Ouarzazate – Agdez – valley Draa of – Tazarine – Gorges of Mharech (hint of Dakar): After breakfast, you will get to visit the Taourirt Kasbah. We will continue the journey in the direction of Zagora, crossing the mountains of the Anti Atlas and passing through the port of Tizi n Tinifift, which is 1,600 meters of height. We will show you the Draa Valley, where we will see various Berber villages and visit some kasbahs. Leaving behind the people of N’kob, Tarazine and Alnif, we will take another road that crosses ghost towns until arriving at the Throats of Mharech. Many of these roads are being used in the Dakar Rally. We will end this day sleeping in a Riad in the heart of the country. Day 3 – Oasis Ramlia Mharech – Dunes of Ouzina – Merzouga : Continuing along the racetrack of the Dakar Rally, we will get to meet more local people, cross the dry channels of the Wadis, admire oasis and see the dunes of Ouzina. Continuing the road, we will visit the well-known people of Khamlia, descended from slaves who arrived from Africa. You will be able to enjoy its amazing folkloric music as well. Following Khamlia we will take the road in the direction of Erg Chebbi, the highest dunes and most impressive desert of Morocco. You will spend the night at the Albergui. Day 4 Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga : This part of the trip takes you to another road that has been used in the “Paris-Dakar Rally”. We will visit nomads of the desert and have some tea with them. The oasis of the desert that was used to shoot “Sahara”, a movie starring Penelope Cruz, will be righ at your feet. Another visit will follow, the ‘black” village. This village was called after Sudan’s slave trade. After luch, it’s time for the unforgettable! It’s time to ride the dromedaries into the desert to contemplate an epic sunset. Tonight will be special as we get to sleep in the dunes of the desert, in nomadics tents (jaimas), just like the Berbers do. Dinner will be served, accompagnied by some great music and a starry sky like you’ve never seen before. Day 5 Merzourga – Rissani – the Todra gorge – valley of Dades : We will get up early to live the experience of dawn and sunrise directly on the sand dunes. We will nicely ride the dromaderies back to your hotel where it will be possible to shower and get ready for a new day. Departure towards Rissani, the origin of the Alawite dynasty (the first imperial city of Morocco) is next! We will then take the road in the direction of Erfoud, a village rich in black stones and marine fossils (if you want, you can stop at a factory of fossils) and arrive to the Palmeral of Tafilalet. We will visit the gorges of the Todra and we will arrive at the Valley of Dades, where we will spend the fourth night. Day 6 valley of Dades – valley of Roses – Skoura – Marrakech : Leaving behind the Dades valley by the route of the “Thousand Kasbahs”, we will pass by the surprising Roses valley, before arriving to the Palmeral of Skoura, where you will find the most famous Kasbah in the area. From this point we will begin the path to return to Marrakesh. We will have time to grab food on the way! This will mark the end of the route with us! Conclude your first day in the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. PROGRAM Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -n-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley/Gorges This 4 days tour start from Marrakech to Dades Valley via the High Atlas mountains. While passing throughout the High Atlas mountains, we will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes such as Tizi n’ Tichka, and many Berber hamlets. We will also get the chance to visit the Universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. This place has been named by the UNESCO in 1987. This Berber Kasbah, which has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers for more than 20 films, was also one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory, salt and silk from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech and beyond. Righ after Aït Benhaddou, we will pass through Ouarzazate, or what we call Hollywood of africa since it’s has been as well a very famous destination for filmmakers. After ouarzazate, we will drive towards our final destination, the Dades Valley. On the way, you will get to see megoun, and skoura, two berber villages around the valley. We will finally spend the night in a hotel offering splendid views over the Dades Valley. Day 2: Dades Gorges Valley – Toudra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara ( Overnight Camel trek ) After breakfast, we go from Dades gorges to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert in Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We will drive through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. We will then continue all the way to Merzouga. After relaxing a few minutes at he hotel in Merzouga, we are now ready to ride the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. Once at the camp, you can climb on high dunes to see the sunset, just before spending the night in the nomad tents. This is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. We will end the night in the Berber nomadic tents, with drums music, in the middle of the Sahara. Day 3: Camel ride back to Merzouga – Alnif – Agdz – Ouarzazate We will wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise on the dunes, then ride the camels back to Merzouga. After breakfast, you can take a shower in the hotel, then we start our journey back to Ouarzazate trough different areas and different Berber villages ( Alnif , Tazarine , N’kob ). We wil arrive in the evening/night. Day 4: Ouarzazate – Berber Villages and atlas Mountains – Back to Marrakech Leaving Ouarzazate in the morning, after visiting studions. We will pass through the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road in Morocco, Tizni Tichka at 2260m of altitude. This road offer impressive views of the valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. We will arrive in Marrakech in the evening, which is the end of the 4 days trip. PROGRAM DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – AIT BENHADDOU – DADES VALLEY : Our Morocco tour from Marrakech to desert starts today in the morning and we pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech, Then we drive through the Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass and we enjoy beauty of the landscapes around. We pass through Berber villages and we will watch and learn about the producing of argan oil by Berber women in their cooperative. We will visit Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou ,which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco , and it is a UNESCO historical site. After lunch at the Kasbah we continue to Dades gorges via Ouarzazate. The city is called as the Hollywood of Africa and we will pass along the “Road of the 1000s Kasbahs”. We stop at “Kalaat Mgouna”. It is well-known for its annual festival during May. Our day finishes in Dades valley where we spend the night in the hotel in the Dades Gorge with dinner and breakfast. DAY 2 : DADES – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA CAMEL TREK: Our Morocco tours continue and after breakfast in the riad we pass through the Dades valley to watch rock formation called “the monkey toes”. Leaving the Dades valley in direction of “Tinghir” to the Todra valley we’ll enjoy beautiful views of the old Berber villages. We arrive at the Todra Gorge and we may walk under the 300 m high red cliff. Many rock-climbers come here to enjoy this adventure sport. Then we continue tour from Marrakech to desert to Erfoud mcapital of fossils and also Rissani. We’ll drive towards the village of Merzouga. We prepare for camel ride with experienced desert guide. We will spend the night in desert in a Berber nomad tents. DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – DRAA VALLEY – MARRAKECH : Today we will enjoy beautiful desert sunrise in Merzouga. Then we ride camels back to the village of Merzouga. Arriving back in Merzouga and after breakfast we’ll drive towards Ouarzazate passing Agdez and Draa valley. Starting with a scenic drive through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou, you’ll head south, taking in the Ziz Valley’s lush palm groves before reaching the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara. Enjoy an authentic desert adventure with camel treks, tea with nomads, and a night under the stars at a Berber camp. The return journey includes a stop in the historic town of Rissani and ends back in Fez, completing an unforgettable Moroccan experience. PROGRAM Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Forest of monkeys – Azrou – Midelt – Gorges of Ziz – Merzouga We will departure from Fez to head to the south of Morocco through Ifrane. We will stop in Azrou, the forest of cedars and the monkeys in the Atlas. We will continue to the port of Tizi-n-Talghoumlt, after arrival at the sel Ziz valley, we will be visiting the Oasis of Tafilalet, with a lot of date palms. In the afternoon we will arrive to Merzouga “Erg Chebbi”, our arrival to the Sahara desert.  Dinner and lodging.   Day 2: Merzouga – tracks on the Dakar – Khamilia – nomad villages – Erg Chebbi After breakfast, we will head to the desert. We will see one of the famous tracks from “Paris-Dakar Rally” visiting nomads of the desert with whom we will take a tea and see the oasis where it was shot the film “Sahara”, starring Penelope Cruz. We will visit the village of “blacks”, originally called due to the slave trade brought from Sudan in the past. After lunch we will ride to the desert dunes with the camels in order to see the sunset. Once there, we will spend the night at a Berber camp, enjoying the typical food and music. Dinner and lodging at a Haima.   Day 03: Erg Chebbi Dunes– Rissani – Fez After returning with the camels, we will head toward Rissani – first imperial city of Morocco-, where we will admire its peculiar market, unique in these latitudes. On the way to Erfoud, we will have a panoramic view of the valley of the Ziz with its palm tree groves and gorges. Once have passed the port of Tizi-n-Talghomt, we will arrive to Midelt where we will have lunch. Then we will leave toward the forest of cedars. Obligatory stop to see the monkeys in freedom. Before arriving to Fes, cultural capital of Morocco, we will pass through Ifrane (called the Moroccan Switzerland). Arrival to Fez and end of the trip.
